Committed investment can bring effective change


With ownership comes responsibility. Investors, who own virtually all resources and productive assets in the world, have a huge responsibility to avoid doing harm while earning their return. Investing through a third party doesn’t remove that responsibility, whether we are talking about equity or bonds.

Happily there is a seemingly unstoppable trend for savers to expect their investment adviser to use responsible investing policies. But making the saver feel more comfortable is not the objective. These policies must work in the field if they are to retain the trust of investors and make the world a better place for us all to live, and continue to live.
